Working with Treated

What to expect.What to prepare.

If your question is specific to a case, send a non-identifying outline and we will confirm the appropriate next step.

01Which records are required to begin a case?

The required records depend on the selected service. They may include intraoral scans or STL files, clinical photographs, a clinical prescription, CBCT or DICOM imaging, restorative objectives and relevant patient records. The service page lists the usual starting records, and the team will confirm the exact requirements before work begins.

02How should case records be submitted?

Patient records must be submitted through the approved secure portal or another transfer route specifically agreed by Treated. Do not send patient records through the public contact form, ordinary email or messaging applications.

03What is the usual turnaround time?

Most services have a standard turnaround of 1 to 3 business days. The confirmed timescale depends on the selected workflow, case complexity and whether the submitted records are complete. Any case-specific variation is confirmed before planning begins.

04What happens if records are incomplete?

The case is reviewed before planning begins. If a required scan, image, prescription detail or supporting record is missing, the team will identify what is needed so the case can proceed with a clear and complete brief.

05How are revisions handled?

Feedback and revision requests are submitted through the agreed case workflow. Treated updates the plan or design against the treating clinician’s instructions and returns it for further review. A material change to the prescription, records or agreed scope may require the case to be reassessed.

06Can Treated work with our existing laboratory or manufacturer?

Yes. The service is designed to support the practice’s preferred laboratory, manufacturer and digital systems. File compatibility and the intended production route should be confirmed when the case is submitted.

07How is patient information handled?

Only the minimum information needed for the requested service should be transferred, and it must use the approved secure route. The instructing practice remains responsible for its lawful basis, patient information obligations and authority to transfer the relevant records.

08Who retains clinical responsibility?

The treating clinician retains responsibility for diagnosis, prescription, patient consent, clinical suitability and final approval. Treated provides digital planning and design support and does not replace clinical judgement.
